Angelina Jolie by Annie Leibovitz. This is not my photo.
I enjoy the first photo of Angelina Jolie by Annie Leibovitz because of its simplicity, I also like the contrast in the photo. I did not shoot any of my photos at school or with any studio lights. I wanted to recreate the Angelina Jolie picture, so for my first image I used my mom as my model. The lighting was straight on, like butterfly, although you can not see any shading on her face. I then proceeded in photoshop with the picture and turned it black and white and turned up the contrast. My next image is of one of my friends in a milky bathtub. At first I wasn't sure how to make the bath milky but as simple as it sounds I just added a cup of milk and heavy whipping cream into the water. I then proceeded to use the natural lighting in my bathroom by controlling the amount of light that is let in by how high or low the blinds are. This created a split lighting on her face. And don't worry, she does have a bathing suit on!! My last photo is of my older sister. I placed some rose petals around her and on her spine. Unlike my other two images I did not want my last image to be a straight on portrait so I took a side profile.
